PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Medina County Commissioners hereby provide notice that public hearings will be held for the purpose of consideration of recommended amendments to charges and fees imposed at the Medina County Solid Waste Management District Facility.
The Sanitary Engineer has recommended an increase in the charges imposed at the Solid Waste District Facility (the District) for the following services: municipal waste delivered to the District from $52.00 to $53.00 per ton, residential bagged refuse delivered to the District from $1.75 to $2.00 per 13-gallon equivalent bag, scrap tires delivered to the District from $2.00 to $2.50 per small tire and $8.50 to $13.00 per large tire, Community Clean Up waste delivered to the District from $47.00 to $48.00 per ton, bagged yard waste delivered to the District from $1.50 to $2.00 per bag, and bulk yard waste delivered to the District from $22.00 to $23.00 per ton.
The first hearing will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 5:00 p.m., the second hearing shall be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 8:00 a.m., and the third hearing shall be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.
All hearings will be held at the Medina County Commissioners’ hearing room at 144 N. Broadway Street, Suite 201, Medina, Ohio 44256.
