Request for Qualifications (CM at Risk Contract)
The Board of Commissioners of Medina County (Board) intends to enter into a contract with a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) to provide pre-construction services, such as scheduling, estimating costs, value engineering and preconstruction planning, etc., and to provide construction management services, at a guaranteed maximum price, during the construction of a new county courthouse (Medina Courthouse Project). The Board of Commissioners invites interested, experienced construction management firms to submit Statements of Qualifications to provide the Construction Manager at Risk Services described above in connection with the Medina Courthouse Project. Statements of Qualifications will be evaluated based on 1) competence to perform the required management services, 2) capacity of qualified personnel, equipment and facilities to perform the services, 3) past performance attested by prior clients, and 4) financial capacity and ability to provide a letter of credit or surety bond. The deadline for submission of Statements of Qualifications is August 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the office of the Board at 144 N. Broadway Road, Second Floor, Medina, Ohio 44256.
