Subdivisions

The Medina County Subdivision Regulations regulates Major and Minor Subdivisions.

Major Subdivisions generally contain multiple parcels and usually contain streets. The regulations require a four stage approval process; Concept Plan, Preliminary Plan, Construction Plan, and Final Plat. Preliminary Plans and Final Plats are reviewed and decided by the Planning Commission during one of their monthly meetings.

Minor Subdivisions or lot splits create new parcels of land with existing street frontage. The Planning Director has the authority to approve Minor Subdivisions.
