Eligible CHIP activities for PY2023 include Rehabilitation and Repair Assistance; Homeownership Assistance; Tenant-Based Rental Assistance; Fair Housing; and General Administration.

Based on a County housing needs assessment, Medina County is proposing to undertake the following PY2023 CHIP activities within its CHIP Service Area: Private Owner Rehabilitation $435,000 (HOME); Owner Home/Building Repair $225,000 (CDBG); Fair Housing $5,000 (CDBG); and General Administration $85,000 ($42,000 CDBG and $43,000 HOME). CHIP activities satisfy the LMI National Objective. Medina County, on behalf of its partnership including the City of Wadsworth, is applying for a total of $750,000 to fund these activities.
