NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

The Medina County Board of Commissioners hereby provides notice that it intends to levy a $5 permissive motor vehicle license tax under ORC 4504.24 for the purpose of providing additional general operating revenues for planning, construction, improving, maintaining, and repairing public roads, highways, and streets; maintaining and repairing bridges. Two public hearings have been scheduled to provide citizens with adequate opportunity to view information and comment on the proposed permissive motor vehicle license tax. The first public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. and the second public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Both public hearings will be held at the Medina County Administration Building, 144 N. Broadway Street, Room 201 Medina.
