Office Assistant/Permit Clerk (Part-Time)
The Medina County Board of Commissioners is seeking a part-time Office Assistant/Permit Clerk for the Medina County Solid Waste District and Storm Water Permits Department.
Responsibilities:
The Office Assistant works under the general supervision of the Solid Waste District Director, provides a variety of duties including answering office phone, maintain and ordering supplies, assisting with accounts payable/receivables. Works with Media Specialist on website, flyers, and social media. The Office Assistant will also be responsible for general clerical tasks and filing and will support the County Engineers Storm Water Division by covering duties at its permit desk.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, data entry and/or office procedures. Ability to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, system applications and other office equipment. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and clean driving record. Must possess and maintain reliable transportation to travel to off-site locations as needed.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 20–24 hours per week. This position is not remote.

Salary: $14.75–$16.00/hour
