Laboratory Technician (Full-Time)
Medina County Sanitary Engineer Department is seeking a Laboratory Technician with a Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or related fields with a minimum of two (2) years experience in a water/wastewater laboratory. Ability to conduct various chemical and bacteriological analyses. Knowledge of and ability to use all general laboratory equipment. Skills in computer software programs. Ability to collect and maintain accurate records for the preparation of technical and administrative reports.
Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment to provide professional services with good communication skills. This is a permanent first shift position with excellent benefits offered.
Candidate must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and must be able to acquire an Ohio Water Environment Association Wastewater Analyst Certification Class I within two (2) years of hire.
Must pass a background check/drug screen.
