Kennel Worker (Intermittent)
The Medina County Board of Commissioners seeks an Intermittent Kennel Worker for the Dog Shelter located on Deerview Lane.
Responsibilities: Cleans dog pens, and makes sure dogs have food and water. Maintains cleanliness of restrooms, offices and reception area. Handles and controls impounded dogs. Reports to Dog Warden any potential health or behavioral problems involving animals in the Shelter’s care. Sells dog license and maintains records of sale. Greet and assist customers, office duties.
Schedule: Must be available to work Monday-Saturday 8am-4:30pm as needed.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent with strong communication and customer service skills. Valid Ohio driver’s license with good driving record. Six months work related experience and or training in the caring for and handling of animals. Able to lift at least fifty pounds.
Salary: $12.50
