Facilities Technician (Full-Time)

The Medina County Board of Commissioners is seeking a full-time Facilities Technician for their Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities:
Ensures facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition; monitors CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Software) to ensure tasks are performed in a timely manner; performs preventative maintenance on all equipment; plows, removes snow, and salts parking lots and sidewalks; maintains heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in working order; performs minor repairs to electrical and plumbing systems; performs a variety of carpentry tasks; troubleshoots, repairs, and adjusts locks and doors; maintains hand and power tools in working condition; ensures that the shop and work areas are clean and organized; maintains fire extinguisher service schedule; moves or arranges for moving of furniture and equipment as requested.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.  One (1) year general building maintenance experience.  Possess valid Ohio driver’s license with good driving record.  Certification(s) in craft/trade/skills. Valid 608 license preferred.

Hours:
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, mandatory on-call/call-in on rotating basis and seasonal overtime.

Starting Rate:
$18.87/hour
