Home Arrest/GPS/Electronic Monitoring

The Home Arrest/GPS/Electronic Monitoring programs, operated through private vendors, are an alternative to serving time in the County Jail for those individuals who are sentenced to home confinement and have been referred to the program by any of the local courts. The court and/or probation officers establish the parameters and limitations to which the person must adhere in order to maintain compliance with the program. If an individual is not compliant with the program regulations, the program will terminate the participant’s involvement and the probationer will appear in court for a violation hearing.
