On the Internet or by Phone using your Credit Card:

To pay by credit card over the Internet, Click Here to visit the Official Payments Corp. Payment Center link.  You will be notified of the convenience fee that will be charged based on the amount you are paying.

To pay by credit card over the Phone, simply call Official Payments Corporation toll-free at 1-800-2PAY-TAX (1-800-272-9829) and follow the instructions.  You will be prompted to enter JURISDICTION CODE 4512 on your touch-tone telephone keypad.  When you call, you will be informed of the convenience fee charged based on the amount you are paying.  You will be given a confirmation number at the end of the call, which you should keep for your records.  Your payment will be effective on the date you made the charge.

What are the late payment penalties?
Payments must be received or postmarked on or before the scheduled due date.
Payments made within 10 days past due date: 5% penalty
Payments made after 10 days past due date: 10% penalty

Can I pre-pay my taxes?

Taxpayers not paying through an escrow agent have the option of paying taxes ahead of time by making monthly tax escrow payments.

What if I get behind in my taxes?
If you fail to pay your taxes for the first and second half of the year, a delinquent tax bill will be sent in September with payment due in October.

Taxpayers with delinquent accounts can choose to pay off their debt gradually by enrolling in a payment plan. For more information, call 330-725-9190.
