Under welfare reform, Ohio Works First (OWF) participants who refuse to cooperate with the child support enforcement process can rapidly lose all OWF and food stamp benefits. |

Change in Non-Residential or Residential Parent Information The law requires both the obligor and the obligee to notify the agency, in writing, of the following changes immediately after the change occurs:

Due to federal legislation, effective September 30, 2000, the State of Ohio is required to have centralized collection and disbursement of child support payments. Because of this requirement in the year 2000, payment processing will move from the Medina County CSEA to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Office of Child Support. For additional information, the State of Ohio provides a web site for the State Office of Child Support. |
