Animal Shelter Spay/Neuter Program

When you adopt a dog, you receive a certificate for free spaying/neutering for that dog at a participating veterinary office. A list of participating veterinarians is available from the shelter.

All dogs adopted from the shelter must be spayed or neutered within six months of adoption.

Animal Shelter Fees - Effective December 1, 2004

Dog Adoption:	$42 - Includes license and a free spay/neuter certificate.
Cat Adoption:	$15
Dog License:	$12
Kennel License:	$60
Dog Drop-Off Fee:	$12 for licensed dogs $42 for unlicensed dogs
Cat Drop-Off Fee:	$10 Some restrictions apply
Dogs and cats can be brought in Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

This list is updated twice a week, usually on Mondays and Thursdays, and may be only a partial listing of the animals that need a loving home. For more information, please call or visit the Animal Shelter.

All stray dogs at our shelter are now scanned for micro-chips, but a dog license is always the sure ticket home.

All of the dogs listed below are current on vaccinations.

	Bella is a sweet little 6 year old female Pom mix. She was a stray from Lake road in Medina,Bella likes people, and loves to sit on your lap.
	Chloe is a nice 6 month old spaniel/golden mix, she was a stray,found at the shelter. Chloe likes people, and is a very happy puppy. She also seems to do well with other dogs.
	Duke is a very playful, and energetic 5 month old male Beagle/ Boxer mix. He was an owner turn in because the owner was unable to care for a puppy. He loves to jump and run, and seems to do well with other dogs if he is introduced slowly.
	Merle is a nice 6 year old male Beagle, he was a stray from Wadsworth city. He likes people, and seems to do well with other dogs. Beagles are great dogs, and make wonderful pets.
	Wallace is a friendly 4 year old male Spaniel mix. He was a stray from Seville road just east of Seville village. Wallice likes people, and does well on a leash also.
	Wanda is a very sweet,loving 2 year old female Beagle, she was a stray from Wandel road in Homerville area. She is very well mannered, and always wants to be near people.
